July 17: New 2009 iPhone, specs and minor upgrade

Another rumor about the new iPhone; it is thought that Apple will release the updated phone on July 17 2009. The new iPhone has only a minor upgrade, which you can see from the specs below.

Wired explains that a source close to the Apple hardware team approached Apple iPhone Apps, and told them that the team possess some knowledge of the new iPhone, as well as the specifications and its release date.

Many of the recent rumors seem to be true, such as a new 3.2-megapixel camera, digital compass and a video recorder, as well as a few more cool features. Let us hope that this rumor turns out to be true, as I can certainly do with a new iPhone now.
