DA DONG ROAST DUCK RESTAURANT

Favoured by both locals and foreigners alike, Da Dong Roast Duck has won countless awards for culinary excellence and owns a strong reputation for serving one of the best Peking Ducks in town. The restauran itself is rowdy and the decor less fancy as compared to Made in China at the Grand Hyatt, but the service is excellent and you get good value for money here.

RED CAPITAL CLUB

Situated in a restored Qing dynasty Chinese courtyard house, Red Capital Club serves ‘Zhong Nan Hai’ cuisine, which literally means ‘Central and South Seas’. Sometimes labeled as imperial cuisine, Zhong Nan Hai cuisine is a unique combination of luxurious Imperial dishes of the past and hearty favorites of China’s new generation of leaders. Red Capital Club offers alfresco courtyard dining and an indoor section decorated with Chinese memorabilia. It also has a bar for pro- and post-dinner drinks. To complete your experience, it is recommended that you try the Red Capital Flag Limo Tour, where you will be driven around in a bulletproof stretch limousine that Stalin presented to Mao Zedong in the 1950s, complete with Russian caviar and a bottle of Moet & Chandon.

Possibly the restaurant that offer the best Peking Duck in Beijing, this stylish restaurant has been named ‘Winner of Best Chinese Restaurant 2008′ by Time Out Beijing. It also boasts an impressing wine list, alongside a good variety of desserts 1 complement your meal.

GREEN T. HOUSE

Do not be fooled by the name, as this impossibly chic restaurant is not your typical teahouse. Offering tea infused and inspired dishes, Green T. House has won way too many awards to be listed here. The Zen-like entrance of the restaurant and its artistic interior decor is liable to make you feel like Alice in Wonderland, and its excellent menu and unique ambience makes it rightfully famous and a definite must try.
