Paz Vega with sleek black Gucci

This 33-year-old Spanish actress may be a Hollywood novice (her most high-profile role to date is playing a housekeeping in the 2004 Adam Sandler vehicle Spanglish), but judging by her recent appearance at the Rome International Film Festival, she is already skilled in making an impact.

This sleek black Gucci number runs the risk of looking too Morticia Addams but the sultry Vega makes it work with her regal bearing – and the loveliest smoky eye make-up (subtle and sheer but still sexy) we have seen in quite a while.

The thigh-high slit balances the gown’s long sleeves just right and the overall result is nothing short of breathtaking.
